If you haven't made the correct choices in DDS1, or you don't have it altogether, this will be the only time you fight with Heat, so make the most of it.

The varnas aren't at all threatening, they can only attack or use black or white impulse, which doesn't seem to have any other effect on you, apart from being stronger than their normal attack.

Heat will be the best attacker here, as he has agidyne, which does a lot of damage to them. Use Serph to heal up if needs be. Not a lot else to say really, if you lose this battle, then how the hell did you get past vrit...
