The Karma Temple (the place where laws are made etc.) calls together all clan leaders in the Junkyard and tells each clan to find a girl named Sera and to take her to a place called Nirvana. The Karma Temple also now makes it law that people should devour those who are weaker than they are.
The party found Sera, a mysterious girl with no memory of her past on a battlefield at the start of the game. They decide to take her to Nirvana as instructed by the Karma Temple, but to do this they realise they will have to destroy the other clans.
